Each suite at Black Rhino Game Lodge is air-conditioned and includes a private bathroom with free toiletries. Rooms are spacious, with a deck overlooking the bush, a plunge pool, and an outdoor shower. Some have a bathtub and three shower options, including an indoor and an outdoor one. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spotless, and housekeeping folds towels into animal shapes during the morning drive.

All meals are included at the restaurant. Breakfast features a variety of fresh, hot options. Dinner is buffet or à la carte, with local dishes like braised lamb neck, oxtail, and ostrich steaks. Chef Raymond and his team serve excellent food. The Boma evening includes a traditional South African braai (BBQ) with meats, curries, and side dishes. Afternoon tea offers hot and cold snacks, plus sweets, from 2 pm to 4 pm.

The lodge has an outdoor pool, an outdoor dining boma, and a hide overlooking a busy waterhole. Guests can use a spa and wellness centre for massages (back, couple, foot, full body, hand, head, neck). There is a spa lounge with relaxation area, sun loungers, and beach chairs. Two daily game drives are included: one morning in Pilanesberg National Park and one evening in the private Black Rhino Concession. The afternoon drive includes sundowner drinks and snacks.

Black Rhino Game Lodge is in Pilanesberg, 33 km from Sun City. It is 3 hours by car from Johannesburg Airport, with the last part on a dirt road without big potholes. Free WiFi and free parking are available on site. The lodge is in a private reserve, so morning drives go to Pilanesberg National Park, and evening drives stay in the concession. A watering hole in front of the main building lets guests see elephants, baboons, and zebra from the terrace.

The hotel offers daily housekeeping, ironing service, laundry, board games, and a shared lounge/TV area. There is a shuttle service, 24-hour security, and CCTV in common areas.
